Media enquiries

I'm an experienced and willing commentator who can explain complex physics clearly and accurately for general audiences, and represent major international experiments to the press. I'm happy to provide quotes, live and recorded interviews, expert background, and script consultation.

Broadcast & press

I have contributed to BBC Radio — providing quotes on new results, features such as Science Cafe, and the comedy science programme The Unexplainers — given expert input on entertainment scripts, and been interviewed on Radio Dubai and for the Western Mail. As ATLAS Education & Outreach Coordinator I coordinated the experiment's contributions to the international media event for the LHC Run-3 startup, and I regularly work with the CERN press office.

Public talks & speaking

I give public lectures several times a year at science festivals, museums, cafés, bars, schools and learned societies — deliberately seeking out diverse venues and audiences. Since 2022 I have been a scientific expert and tour guide for the New Scientist Discovery Tours, leading multi-day public tours of CERN with lectures and discussion sessions.
