- Elected Coordinator of the ATLAS Education & Outreach group Elected on votes from 181 collaborating institutes to lead all education and outreach for the ATLAS experiment at CERN — over 50,000 annual visitors and millions of online engagements.
- Chair of the UKRI-STFC GridPP Peer Review Panel Overseeing strategy and funding for the UK's large-scale computing for experimental particle physics and the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid.
2021
- Appointed to DarkSide Editorial Board and co-lead of Outer Detector Readout Electronics Executive oversight of the physics programme and leadership of a key detector subsystem in the international DarkSide project.
2020
- Elected Chair of the DarkSide-UK Institutional Board Cost and schedule oversight and leadership appointments across the 15 institutes of the DarkSide-UK project.
- DarkSide approved as a UKRI-STFC funded project in the UK A central role for the Manchester group in opening a new UK funding line for direct dark-matter detection, with Manchester as lead institute for cryogenic silicon photosensors.

- Appointed to the UKRI-STFC Particle Physics Grants Panel Assessing UK particle-physics grant applications. Reappointed for a second term in 2022.
- Turing Fellowship, Alan Turing Institute Leading a programme on machine-learning tools to enable automation of scientific discovery in the physical sciences. (Renewed 2020–2022.)
